Hello and welcome! It’s my very first Artist Musing post! I’m someone who is greatly inspired by artists like Nomura Tetsuya (character designer of Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy etc), shoujo manga (Takeuchi Naoko the creator of Sailor Moon being a good example) and shows I loved like Escaflowne. I’m always wanted to implement things from artists that I admire greatly but I don’t always know how to do that…Recently I’ve been really inspired by Precure and it shows. The way I colour eyes have gotten even shinier…however recently I’ve been thinking how pretty it is when there isn’t large light in the eyes…trying to experiment. Or maybe I’ll change how I draw eyes a lot again? It’s hard getting a feel for your personal style while balancing what you like and don’t like…but art is indulgence! I think you should always pursue and do what you like, first and foremost!
And yet…! I say that and mean it but then why is this such a struggle. I’ll keep trying and hopefully I’ll even be able to insert examples when I’m pleased with how it looks! I hope you’re all well. I’ll update once I make some more progress or have more artist thoughts to think up!
